"An Alpine Canticle"
The Canticle of the Creatures by Francis of Assisi, written 800 years ago (1225-2025), remains a timeless message, as relevant today as ever. It serves as the inspiration for the 23rd edition of Mistero dei Monti, which continues its journey at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites—a perfect blend of evocative storytelling and deep reflection, set against one of the world’s most breathtaking natural architectures, itself a hymn to creation.
Yet, this fragile beauty is increasingly threatened by human neglect, calling us all to an “ecological conversion”—a renewed commitment to safeguarding our shared home with care and respect.
The esteemed guests of Mistero dei Monti will reinterpret the Franciscan manifesto, paraphrased as an Alpine Canticle, weaving together science, art, and philosophy to inspire a vision of the world that is more peaceful, just, and in harmony with nature.
