Live a unique experience and become a beekeeper for a day! After a relaxing nature walk in the company of a mid-mountain guide who will satisfy your curiosity about local herbs and plants, you will arrive at an altitude of 1220 metres at a small farmstead which in the past was home to tireless workers. Near the farmstead, you will be able to observe the magic of the beehive at close quarters, guided by a passionate beekeeper... nurse bees, guardian bees, foragers... Will you be able to recognise the drones? And find the queen? You will be able to understand bee behaviour and all that lies behind their wonderful world! After the observation, it will be time to taste the precious honey produced at altitude with a rich variety of typical cheeses and cold cuts provided by local organic farms accompanied by other delicacies!
Programme:
- 8:30 a.m.: meeting in Caderzone Terme (Town Hall). Outing programme illustration and departure with own vehicle from Caderzone Terme in the direction of Maso Ingiva
- 9:00 a.m.: parking of the car and start of the excursion with botanical curiosities
- 9:45 a.m.: arrival at the farmhouse, observation of the honeycombs with technical explanation
- 10:45 a.m.: rich tasting with honey produced at altitude, typical organic cheese produced by a local farm, cold cuts and much more
- Return to the village at about 12:00 noon
