Casa da Mont Cechin, nestled in a large meadow and surrounded by woods, has all these features!
Located at about 600 meters above sea level at the end of a steep and cemented road (about 700 meters with an initial drainage channel, a minimum of driving experience in the mountains is required), the proprty guarantees relaxation, privacy and convenience when traveling. It is in fact 5-minute drive from Tione di Trento.
From there, in less than an hour you can reach the main tourist destinations of Trentino: Pinzolo/Madonna di Campiglio - Dolomiti di Brenta UNESCO World Heritage Site, the lakes of Tenno, Molveno, Garda and Idro.
The cabin is divided on two levels. On the ground floor there is the kitchen (with gas hob, refrigerator with freezer compartment) and the dining room, with the possibility to relax in the company of the crackling fireplace.
On the upper floor, via a staircase you can access the sleeping area: a double bedroom with a single and a half bed; another double bedroom with single beds. If you wake up early in the morning, you may be lucky enough to spot roe deer/deer in the surrounding meadow! Also on the upper floor you will find the bathroom, with shower box, bidet, sink and toilet.
Externally the property is surrounded by a large garden, with barbecue, large table with umbrella and hammock. An ideal place to enjoy summer lunches and dinners.
You will be provided with dishes, cutlery and bed/bath linen. Good outdoor telephone coverage.
Staying in the Cechin hut cabin requires the willingness to do without some comforts.
In fact, the electricity in the house is supplied by a stand-alone photovoltaic system with battery storage. The use of large appliances (e.g. hair dryer) is therefore not permitted. It is also important that you pay attention to consumption, expecially in bad weather. In these situations, in fact, the battery recharge is less or nil.
The domestic water supply is from a spring and not from the public water supply, while hot water can be obtained from a wood-burning stove with a storage boiler. From the moment it is swithched on, you will have hot water available in about 50 minutes.
There is a path in the immediate vicinity of the house. It is therefore possible that the occasional hiker may pass by.
In case of need, the stove and the fireplace can be used to heat up on cool evenings at the beginning/end of the season.
