It is suitable for those seeking disconnection from everyday life but do not shy away from the opportunity to have a chat with tourists or locals of the valley, especially during the warm weeks of August.
The cabin is arranged on two levels. On the ground floor, there is a small kitchen (gas hob and refrigerator without a freezer), a dining table where you can have lunch with a view of the wood-burning fireplace. The bathroom is also present with a shower, sink, toilet, and bidet.
Upstairs, via a steep staircase, you access an open space with a bunk bed and a double bedroom. Externally, there is a small unfenced garden.
Dishes, cutlery, pots, bath and bed linen are provided. The house is connected to the public water supply, while hot water is obtained from a gas boiler.
Staying at Remo dei Tonoi Zeller cabin requires the willingness to forgo some comforts. In fact, the house's electricity is supplied by a photovoltaic off-grid system with a battery. Attention must be paid to consumption, especially in case of bad weather. In these situations, battery recharging is reduced. The system's dimensions are very small, and it is therefore only possible to charge the smartphone through the single available power outlet. The use of large appliances (such as a hairdryer) is not allowed. External phone coverage is not guaranteed.
In case of need, to warm up during the cool evenings at the beginning or end of the season, there is the presence of a wood-burning fireplace.
The cabin is reachable from Tione di Trento by following the directions for Malga Cingledino on an asphalted road.
The last 400 meters must be covered on a steep, single-lane concrete road (some mountain driving skills required). Alternatively, you can leave your car at the headwall parking lot and continue on foot for 5 minutes.
