A discreet but solemn representation of the force of nature: the stream explodes in the woods and falls with a triple jump, generating an overwhelming acoustic effect.
A disruptive roar and three spectacular jumps. They are the characteristic elements of the Rio Lares waterfalls, in Val Genova. Lares or "larch", a plant symbolic of the territory where the watercourse that crosses the forest is born. Lares, like the homonymous hut, can be reached by continuing along the path and the lake is also christened at an altitude of 2,655 metres, where it all begins. Both destinations are connected by path 214, the same that from the Malga Genova car park (at 1,115 meters) will have already led you to the waterfall in the first halfhour of the journey. The explosion of the waterfall in the woods, the acoustic effect and the intense colours, splendid in autumn when yellow and gold dominate, make the setting absolutely unique.
