Cima Tombea - a watershed between Valvestino and Val Sabbia, one of the highest mountains in the area - is a beautiful botanical garden, a natural heritage guardian of legends. In addition to being able to admire interesting geological formations and a great variety of flowers, from the "top of the tombs" you can enjoy a majestic panorama: the gaze ranges from all the Adamello to the Presanella, the Brenta Group, the Trentino mountains to the Dolomites of the Val di Fassa and Lake Garda. The origin of the name is debated and according to popular etymology or the hypothesis advanced by some researchers, it takes its name from the accumulations of land present on its summit, in the Plain of Stor, which appear to the eye just like tombs.
