Val Genova

Perceiving history, understanding science, contemplating nature: Val di Genova opens the doors to your curiosity, guaranteeing you the privilege of a rare experience.

Nature, history and science can be very powerful stimuli for every visitor. Being able to enjoy all three at the same time is the opportunity offered by Val Genova, one of the most iconic places in the Adamello-Brenta Park. Shaped by glaciers, one of the sources of the Sarca river originates in this area, which for about 18 kilometres collects the waters from the enchanting waterfalls that fall from the side valleys. It is also rich in coniferous forests, with their typical alpine fauna, made up of ungulates, brown bears and golden eagles. Starting from the mountain huts, you can observe the historical evidence of the battles on the glaciers of the First World War. Finally, do not miss the visitor centre of the Carisolo Geopark where an original exhibition full of interactive experiences tells the geological epic of the mountains already declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
