Creto is a district of the municipality of Pieve di Bono, which became Pieve di Bono-Prezzo on 1 January 2016.
The village of Creto, which is made up of the quarters of Creto, Levìdo and Clusone, enjoys a position at the bottom of the basin which has enabled it to develop as a commercial centre. Many hotels and public utility services have sprung up here.
Of particular historic-cultural interest is the Pieve di Santa Giustina: an ancient parish church whose apse is decorated entirely with Gothic, Giotto-style frescoes produced by Venetian painters in the 1300s and 1400s.
