With regard to the data processing specified under sub-section 2.1(a), Madonna di Campiglio Azienda per il Turismo S.p.A. acts as an external data processor, and the data controller is your selected lodging facility. For more complete information on the individual lodging facilities, see their respective web sites, links to which are included among the general details provided.
2. PURPOSES OF DATA HANDLING
1) Your personal data is gathered and processed by Azienda per il Turismo Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo, Val Rendena, as external data processor, based on your consent and for the following purposes:
a) purposes strictly related to cost estimates and/or booking in response to requests concerning the availability of lodging at facilities at the various tourist destinations concerned. Specific categories of personal data (see Article 9 of the Regulation) may also be processed, upon your consent, in order to satisfy your requests. Provision of general and specific data may be necessary in order to provide certain services requested, such as those that concern execution of a contract or agreement.
2) Your personal data is gathered and processed by Azienda per il Turismo Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo, Val Rendena, as data controller, based on your consent and for the following purposes:
a) purposes strictly connected to the provision of the services described on the web site (except as specified above), including the participation in competitions, loyalty programs, or other events promoted by Azienda per il Turismo Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo, Val Rendena or by our commercial partners. Provision of general and specific data may be necessary in order to provide certain services requested, such as those that concern execution of a contract or agreement.
b) sending marketing and direct-sales materials: Your personal data may be used by Azienda per il Turismo Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo, Val Rendena in order to send marketing and or direct-sales materials, which may be personalized based on specified preferences. These materials may be provided by e-mail, fax, telephone, or any other form of communication technology. Communications sent may be personalized based on specified preferences and/or based on the personal data gathered or processed.
Consent to the processing of data for these purposes is optional, and refusing to consent will not impact the use of the services provided by Azienda per il Turismo Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo, Val Rendena or by the various lodging facilities. If you do provide consent, you will nonetheless have the right to oppose, in whole or in part, the processing of your personal data for marketing and/or direct sales by submitting a request to Azienda per il Turismo Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo, Val Rendena.
In all cases in which processing is based on consent of the data subject, it will always be possible to revoke such consent by submitting a request to the data controller without compromising any processing executed prior to the revocation of consent.
3. METHODS OF DATA HANDLING

4. PERIOD OF DATA STORAGE
In general, personal data is kept for the amount of time that is strictly necessary in order to achieve the purpose for which the data was gathered and processed, including the storage period required by applicable law, and, in any event, for a period of no longer than 10 years following termination of our relationship for purposes of the service itself and for a period of no longer than 2 years for marketing purposes.
5. SCOPE OF DATA DISSEMINATION AND DISCLOSURE
Only authorized internal and external data processors appointed by Azienda per il Turismo Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo, Val Rendena for the purposes specified above may be made aware of your personal data (the Data Controller can provide a complete list of external data processors).
Your personal data may be disclosed to:
- parent companies, subsidiaries or associates of Azienda per il Turismo Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo, Val Rendena;

- public authorities when required by law or as strictly necessary for the reporting, prevention, or performance of legal proceedings in relation to fraud or other crimes; personal data may also be shared with competent authorities in order to protect and defend our rights and assets or the rights and assets of our commercial partners;
- other companies that conduct activities in the fields of marketing, market research, and the direct sale of goods and services via the Internet and other communication technologies as specifically engaged by Azienda per il Turismo Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo, Val Rendena.
Personal data may be transmitted within Italy and the European Union. Should data be transferred to third parties located outside of the European Union or in countries that do not ensure an adequate level of data protection, appropriate contractual guarantees will first be obtained from the external provider based on contract clauses that have been approved by the European Commission.
Your personal data may in no way be disclosed to the public.
6. AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING PROCESS
Your personal data will not be subject to processing methods that make use of automated decision-making processes without human intervention, including the user-profiling process.
7. USER RIGHTS

- to know the origin of the data;
- to have the data communicated to them in intelligible form;
- to receive information concerning the methods, procedures, and purposes of the processing;
- to request updates, corrections, integrations, cancellations, anonymization, or blocking of illicit data processing, including processing that is not necessary for the purposes for which it was collected;
- to receive, in the event of processing based on consent and at the cost solely of any medium used, their data provided to the controller in a structured form that is readable by data-processing systems and in a format that is commonly used by electronic devices;
- to file a complaint with the competent authority (e.g. the Italian data-protection authority); and
- generally, to exercise all rights granted by applicable law.
The rights specified under sub-section 2.2, points a and b, may be exercised by submitting a request to the data controller specified above. This may be done via e-mail at the following address: info@campigliodolomiti.it.
The rights specified under sub-section 2.1(a) may be exercised by submitting a request to the data controller, which, in this case, is the lodging facility selected. Contact details for this data controller are the same as those of the lodging facility itself.
