Rivers and streams totalling more than 500 km of waterways and 35 alpine lakes, including fast-flowing and still waters, some of which are torrential and thaw-variable, while others are fluvial with steady flow rates. The fish population is made up of marble trout, including large examples, native and stocked brown trout, rainbow trout, hybrids, grayling and, in several high mountain lakes, artic char.
