Discover the routes that make beauty accessible
sites dedicated to accessible beautyOver the years, the Adamello Brenta Nature Park has defined a whole series of “accessible beauty” routes. The aim is to enable absolutely everybody, including people with disabilities (for example, mobility impairments as well as those who are blind or partially sighted), to access sites of particular splendour inside the protected area, and to experience them in the fullest meaning of the word, using the entire range of senses available to us.
Experiences for all the sensesIn addition to removing physical obstacles and making these locations and routes safe, we are experimenting with specially designed routes – as is the case of the “Nudole” trail in Val Daone – to offer visitors immersive experiences including auditory, olfactory and tactile aspects and so on. Furniture designed to suit a variety of needs has been provided at many of the rest areas, and the educational material on natural topics displayed on the noticeboards has been translated into Braille.
For a complete description of the sites dedicated to accessible beauty, check out the special section of the Park website.
These are the barrier-free routes currently active:
- “A trail for everybody – Nudole” Val di Daone
- Malga Ritort – Madonna di Campiglio
- Lungolago Molveno
- Three pathways in Val Genova
- The gems of Val di Tovel
- The Patascoss-Nambino Trail
Finally, don’t forget that vehicles displaying the special badge indicating a disabled passenger can access car parks with dedicated rest areas for free and without the need to book in all the valleys which make up the Park. This is a particularly important benefit during the height of the tourist season.
