Monte Spinale - Malga Vallesinella Alta - Madonna di Campiglio

Monte Spinale Malga Vallesinella Alta Madonna Di Campiglio title=

A hike of intermediate difficulty with a spectacular view of the Brenta Dolomites, the Adamello-Presanella glaciers, and the Vallesinella falls.

The itinerary starts at an altitude of 2,100 m (6,900 ft) on Monte Spinale, which is easily reached using the lift system.

From here, the hike will take you down grassy slopes and through pastures in bloom to Malga Fevri, where you will find a breathtaking view of the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello-Presanella group and is an ideal spot for an alpine picnic. Follow the signs for Malga Vallesinella Alta until you find the impressive Vallesinella falls. After a break at the falls, head back to Madonna di Campiglio either by following the trail known as “Sentiero dell’Orso” or, if you would like to take a detour to the lower Vallesinella falls, by heading on to Rifugio Vallesinella. From the lodge, follow the signs for the falls, then return to town along the narrow, paved road (traffic limited).

Detour available to visit the stunning upper and lower Vallesinella falls.
