After taking the lift to gain altitude, the starting point for the itinerary offers an extraordinary view of the Brenta Dolomites across the valley. This is a hike for the whole family, and younger children will also enjoy the small lake and its wildlife located at the lift arrival station.
Once in Nambino, you will see why this is one of the most popular destinations for families as well as for enthusiasts of hiking and fishing. Overlooking the lake, Rifugio Nambino serves lunch and dinner and offers lovely, cozy rooms for those wishing to stay for more than just the day. Fishing permits may also be obtained at the lodge.
From the lodge, the Nambino highland is just another 20 minutes’ hike and is a good place to leave a car for the return trip. Alternatively, you can continue on to the village, which is another easy hike 20 minutes away on foot.
