Altar in the Chiesa di San Nicolò.
The work, made entirely of wood, was carried out in the seventeenth century by the artist Giovanni Battista Polana, originally from Roncone, but only in the second half of the eighteenth century was it purchased by the parish of Carisolo and installed as an altar. The decorations and statues that make up the altar are developed in non-linear bands dedicated to particular motifs, characters or allegories.
STRENGTH:
Each band has different figures and ornaments, which gracefully express the Christian message.
