Chiesa di Santa Maria Antica.
Built between 1894 and 1895 on the initiative of the entrepreneur Franz Joseph Österreicher, the church in neo-Gothic-Tyrolean style replaced the old priory church, attached to the hospice and between the two parts of the new Des Alpes hotel recently inaugurated by Österreicher. The imperial family of Austria financed some interior decorations, still visible today together with the tomb of the entrepreneur. It remained the main church of the village until 1972, when the new and larger church of Santa Maria "Nuova" was built nearby.
STRENGTHS:
The church preserves some artistic works of particular value: the very ancient Crucifix and the door altar from the late Gothic era.
