A small church located on the ledge of the side of the mountain.
The events of the Bastia di Storo are all concentrated in a period of time that occupies just over a quarter of a century. It was erected around the second half of the 15th century, on the initiative of the people of Storo and Condino tired of the continuous abuses perpetrated by the Counts Lodron. Located on a slope ledge that leads to the top of Rocca Pagana, the Bastia offers a magnificent view of the entire plain below up to Lake Idro. The site is now an archaeological area included in a route called "Memory and Identity", a route adorned with wooden statues made by local sculptors and didactic panels narrating the history and legends of the bump, which unites it with the town of Storo and the nearby church of San Lorenzo where precious frescoes from the early 1500s are preserved, attributable to stylistic affinities and themes represented by the Baschenis circle.
STRENGTH:
The church can be reached on foot in less than two hours.
