Rifugio Mandron

Rifugio Mandron title=

The Mandron hut...

The refuge is located in the upper part of the Val Genova, known as the most beautiful valley of the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park. From here, the eye wanders towards the viewpoint, from which the Sarca River rises, the gateway to Lake Garda. Above the ice, the three tectonic alignments of Lake Mingo – Lares – Care’ Alto, Lobbie – Dosson – Monte Fumo and Adamello – Lagoscuro emerge. Thelatter is also the name of a lake of glacial origin that is located upstream of the refuge. The position of the Mandron is strategic for glacier excursions. The hut is often open even in the spring to encourage ski mountaineering. At the beginning of summer, the ponds are embellished with white plumes of the erioforo, while in late summer, the mouth of the glacier discharges an impressive amount of water downstream. A beautiful church, built with local granite, completes the landscape surrounding the refuge, is a coveted and recommended destination.

STRENGTH:

A super reinforced collection, to allow hikers and mountaineers to face their goals in top form.
