In the upper Val di Breguzzo, where the trees grow thinner and the pastures open up, there is the Rifugio Trivena.
The refuge was built in 1987 from an old building that housed the workers of a now disused marble quarry. In the dining room, pay attention to a small room-museum where numerous artifacts from the Great War are collected.
The refuge can only be reached on foot, with a walk of 1 hour and 30 in winter (from the parking lot Loc. Pantry near the Enel outlet, 300 meters after the Breg Adventure Park) and 1 hour in summer (from the parking lot in Ponte Pianone at 1230 meters).
STRENGTH:
A small high-altitude museum has been set up near the Refuge.
