"Sentiero della Pace": trekking trail of great historical importance

the trekking trail of great historical importanceThe Sentiero della Pace (Peace Pathway) is a tourist trekking trail which is of great historical importance.
It unfolds over 495 kilometres along trails, forest roads, trenches, and walkways reaching the Stelvio Peak of the Marmolada chain, tracing the First World War front line.
This itinerary is very interesting for its environmental features but even more so because of its cultural and historical meaning: a path back through the memory for reminiscing and meditating.

from marmolada to stelvioThe entire itinerary can be covered by the average trekker in about 28 to 30 days but of course it is possible to cover only part of the course. This long course concludes by crossing over the most eastern part of the Lagorai chain (Colbricon, Paneveggio) up to the Marmolada peak.

The trail also contemplates several alternatives that can be reached in one day where it is possible to see noteworthy structures and monuments from the war.

There are 7 stages of the trail through our territory. Walk them all!
