An easy, level route lasting a couple of hours, which starts from the Altopiano di Boniprati and takes a loop around the malghe and the historic Belvedere fort.
The route offers an excellent alternative to the more difficult uphill trail to Cima Passola, with equally satisfying views.
The trail starts from the Altopiano di Boniprati (1172 m), passes through the forest and reaches Belvedere, by passing by some tunnels dug into the rock by Italian soldiers during World War I, with scenic views of Val Daone and the Dosso dei Morti peak. From here, continue on to Malga Campello and then return to Boniprati, either by coming down the old mule track or by following the main road.
This easy walk is perfect for families, and can be done all year round. Take a head torch with you to explore the tunnels dug by the soldiers!
