From the village of Castel Condino to the Boniprati plateau

From The Village Of Castel Condino To The Boniprati Plateau title=

Footpath from the village of Castel Condino to the wonderful plateau of Boniprati. An easy path surrounded by nature and suitable for families.

An easy walk, mainly on a forest road and mountain path.

The initial stretch is steep, flanked by some Via Crucis Painted capitals, and it led to the nineteenth-century little church named “Cappella dei Morti” with its 40 stone steps stairway, alongside the bubbling brook “Rio of Cimego” and surrounded by centuries-old spruces.

A healthy excursion among the fragrant coniferous and deciduous woods, initially steep but it gradually becomes flatter until you come out on the flat meadows of the Boniprati plateau. From this place it is possible to enjoy a beautiful view of the Valle di Daone’s mountains, while the Brenta Dolomites stand out in the background.

The little chapel called “Capella dei Morti” worth a stop: here you can rest and read the panels where is told the curious story of the Chapel.
