The Biolago Pinzolo is a natural swimming pool that is totally eco-sustainable and perfectly integrated into the greenery of the "Pineta" area, not far from the multi-service sports area and playground of Pinzolo and the centre of the town.
The Biolago Pinzolo, located in an enchanting place, offers the opportunity to spend pleasant days of relaxation and pleasure at the foot of the Dolomites, in a unique natural setting with a breathtaking landscape. Comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas with new design complete your comfort. A series of specially designed piers offers the opportunity to dive into the clear waters of the Biolago ensuring fun even for the youngest. The building of changing rooms and bathrooms, also ecofriendly, is characterised by a roof covered by a lawn that isolates it greatly limiting electricity consumption, satisfied by solar panels. But this is not the only precaution that is friendly to nature: the structure in fact exploits solar energy for the production of hot water for showers. The main feature of the Biolago, which distinguishes it from any other pool, is that it has a naturally filtered and purified water that is perfectly suitable for bathing even though it is not treated with any chemical additives. The advantages of a natural bath in a biolago are obvious: softer hair, smooth and hydrated skin and no redness of the eyes. This is possible thanks to the natural and biological water purification system guaranteed by specific phytodepuration areas with plants, algae and water lilies perfectly integrated with ultra violet plants always powered by photovoltaic panels: the water will be clean and oxygenated without any addition of polluting chemicals such as chlorine. Not only that, the fact that there is no stream either entering or leaving, unlike natural lakes, means that the water is pleasantly warm, similar to thermal pools, with a temperature never lower than 24°C and with a very low bacterial load. The Biolago Pinzolo also has a well-kept bathing area reserved for children. Dogs are allowed access, with the prohibition of standing near the bathing mirrors.
