Walk the "Sculpted Forest Trail" to reach it.
Remains of a small church dating back to 1537 and perched on a spur of rock, above the small town of Cologna, from which you can enjoy an extraordinary view of the Valle del Chiese. Renovated in 1800, it was partly knocked down by Italian cannons placed on the overlooking Mount Melino, during the First World War. After being buried for almost a century under the mantle of the forest, it was recently recovered, enhanced and included in a trekking route called the "Path of the Sculpted Forest". A path adorned with wooden sculptures of animals and fantastic subjects, which leads to the church and the adjacent recreational area of San Martino, a place where you can rest and refresh yourself in the shade of an enchanting forest.
