Rifugio Maria e Alberto Ai Brentei - 2.182 m s.l.m. title=

The refuge in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites.

Guarded for 62 years by the famous mountaineer Bruno Detassis, the "King of Brenta" and then by his son Claudio, since 2009 the Rufugio Brentei has been currently managed by the mountain guide Luca Leonardi with his wife Antonella and sons Michele and Gabriele.

Built in the 1930s, the refuge soon became the point of reference for the most daring mountaineers, even more so when the custodian became Bruno Detassis. Entering the heart of mountaineers from all over the world, Brentei is still frequented by all those who want to explore and climb the walls of the Brenta Dolomites, thanks to its strategic position and the hospitality of the managers.

In the last two years, the complete renovation of the Brentei hut has been underway, which will be equipped with new services: there will be new showers, a drying room, heated rooms, cozy bedrooms and other new features. The highlight will be the new panoramic dining room and bar room. A large and continuous glass window will accompany the view of the Brenta Dolomites at 270 degrees.

STRENGTH:

In addition to the tragic location, the refuge offers luggage transport service, rental of mountaineering equipment, an emergency "shoemaker" service and a small shoe and boot shop.
