Lago delle Malghette

Lago Delle Malghette title=

Mountains and flowers as far as the eye can see: a surprising scenery to be experienced in full thanks to the presence of a comfortable refuge where you can eat and sleep on pleasant summer nights.

Located at an altitude of 1,900 metres north-west of the Campo Carlo Magno pass, Lake Malghette will surprise you thanks to its elegant and scenic setting. The presence of the small refuge of the same name, open in summer, allows you to make the most of your visit by eating and sleeping on the spot. Surrounded by conifers, the body of water is located in a basin flanked by the Piano hut and overlooked by the mountains on the western (Cima di Laste, Monte Nambino and Cima Artuick) and eastern (Pietra Grande, Cima Sassara and Sasso Alto) slopes. The rhododendron bloom at the beginning of summer is not to be missed. The lake can be reached via path 201 from Malga Zeledria or Malga Palù della Fava. Or downhill along path 265 after taking to the heights with the Pradalago system.

STRENGTH:
The presence of the refuge allows you to exploit the beauty of the place in a prolonged way.
