Place of memories: a complex of works and military garrisons.
On the top of the complex of military works built by the Italian army on the hill of San Lorenzo di Condino, there is a church from the early 16th century that miraculously preserves the frescoes of an important lineage of artists: the Baschenis. In 1915, in fact, a military garrison for the control of the territory was developed around the building, divided into trenches, barracks, connecting roads and underground structures. Of this garrison, a gunboat entirely dug into the rock, located on the side along the military road leading to the church, and a section of trenches covered in concrete, placed near it, have been restored and made accessible.
