The municipality of Borgo Chiese was established on 1 January 2016 when the municipalities of Condino, Cimego and Brione were merged.
Nestled at the feet of Dos delle Rocche (1,267 m), Brione is the highest-altitude village in Valle del Chiese. From here, your gaze can roam over the towns and fields of the valley as far as Lake Idro, creating an atmosphere of times past.
Make sure to visit the parish church of S. Bartolomeo, dating back to 1300, which was rebuilt in 1524 and then expanded in 1863.
