Darzo is a district of the municipality of Storo, the most populous municipality in Giudicarie. The other districts are Lodrone and Riccomassimo.
Darzo is a little hamlet in the southern part of Valle del Chiese, perched above a little plain where the Chiese and Caffaro rivers flow into Lake Idro. Among the monuments of historic interest here, two churches are must-visits: the 18th-century parish church dedicated to the patron saint San Giovanni Nepomuceno, and the medieval church dedicated to San Michele.
