One of the most delightful lakes in the Madonna di Campiglio area, it is easy to access and offers a great many photo opportunities from sunrise to sunset.

Cross all of Piana di Nambino along the dirt road to the north until you reach the base of the cable lift, then take trail no. 217 to the right. This trail is initially a mule track and then a winding trail along the river. Once past the initial steep section, you will soon be at Lake Nambino and Rifugio Nambino. You can reach the opposite side of the lake by crossing the wood bridge about 100 meters before the lodge. For the return trip, you can follow the flat trail through the forest to Malga Patascoss and then take the forest road down to Piana Nambino.

Season
From spring to autumn. Each season has its own special charms, such as the flowers of spring or the colors of the leaves in fall. To be avoided (photographically speaking) during the day in the high season due to the number of people you will find around the lake.
Time
Better to avoid the central part of the day, when the sun is high in the sky over Brenta. Early morning or late afternoon are best for the interplay of light and clouds and to play with reflections. This beautiful subject is suited to a wide array of interpretations.
Notes
Lake water is a very dark color. Calm winds normally in early morning and evening.
