This walk to Nambrone restaurant takes place on the forest road leading to the ‘Acqua Surgiva’ spring and along the ‘AmolAcqua’ theme walk. The route of the latter snakes its way through a maze of rivulets that criss-cross the lower Val Nambrone, i.e. the area at the confluence between two branches of the Sarca River: Sarca d'Amola and Sarca di Nambrone. The highlight of the walk is the crossing of the beautiful Amola waterfall, which achieves its highest drop in the forest near Nambrone restaurant. This enjoyable walk includes a rather steep stretch in its first part, but runs on flat terrain in its second one. This walk is therefore suitable for children from 10 years provided they are used to walking. The short ‘AmolAcqua’ ring trek starts directly from Nambrone restaurant and is accessible to pushchairs and wheelchairs.
Nambrone restaurant (1355 m) is situated at the bottom of Val Nambrone on the left margin of the plain of the same name. It can be reached by car from Pinzolo by following the SS239 in the direction of Madonna di Campiglio (bear left just below S. Antonio di Mavignola and follow the signs for Nambrone, Cornisello, Segantini).
You can arrange for someone to drop you off at the starting place in Ponte di Pimont (it’s on the road) and to pick you up at Nambrone restaurant. Whoever is acting as chauffeur can for instance go on the easy ‘AmolAcqua’ walk or enjoy a rest on the deck chairs while waiting.
