A walk immersed in nature by the pure water of the Val Genova valley to discover the astonishing frescoes of the cemetery church of S. Stefano, the ancient glassworks, and the peaceful chestnut trees.
Relaxing walk for all senses in the natural park. Starting from Carisolo, near the 19th-century pilgrimage church Madonna del Potere. After the glassworks the path begins, the Waterfalls Path.
We also recommend visiting the Gothic church of S. Stefano overlooking the village from a rock. The south façade was painted by Simone Baschnis with the famous danse macabre in two parts: one where death warns us that the fate for all in the end is the same, the other with the seven deadly sins (1519-1532). Right below are magnificent chestnut trees.
