The church of San BIagio.
The church of San Biagio predates 1361 and originally had three altars (San Biagio, Madonna del Rosario and San Giuliano) while it lacked the tabernacle and baptismal font. In 1853-1854 the old church was demolished to be rebuilt larger at the point of the original church. In 1868 the church was blessed and consecrated, placing the relics of the holy martyrs Sisinio, Martirio and Alessandro. Currently the church has five altars (the Maggiore, the Madonna del Rosario, San Giuliano, Sant'Antonio Abate and San Rocco and San Girolamo) and features a large 701-piece organ from 1931. The church's bell tower, built in hand-carved granite blocks, dates back to the second half of the 1200s.
STRENGTH:
Of particular artistic and historical value is the treasure of the church that gathers an embroidered and ancient planet and a veil from a chalice, as well as a missal published by Grazioso Percacino in 1563 in Venice with a Latin dedication donated by the prince-bishop of Trento, Carlo Emanuele Madruzzo, in memory of his summer stay in the nearby town of San Giuliano.
